I have a friend who asked me if I am bored facing the same friend for 18 years.
There is this girl that I have known since Primary School.
Towards the caption, my answer is buay, buay sian. LOLS.
Knowing the person is not the same as knowing the same person.
She is still who I know but people change, don’t we all?
So technically, she’s still meng (say ming) & me ting but we have changed.
& we grow with each othr along the way. We know what happened to each other.
And also mainly why we are who we are today.
Which also puts us in a better light to “criticize” each other or say comments…
That neither of us wants to hear but has to be heard hahas.
It doesn’t mean the “wahlauehs” feeling isn’t there.
It still is, just that we know there is a point to be made.
& we listen and see if we want to make amendments.
Just like any other friendship, advice given is just an advice.
Until the other decides to put it into action.
Admit it, we all at times just want to live in denial and not face facts.
Or we try to over convince ourselves that it is all going to end up well.
When times like this happen, I am glad she is around.
“LOLS~~~”
I love the feedback we can give each other.
The views we share and even the views we don’t share.
In fact, we disagree on quite a lot of things unlike what people think hahas.
For me, I am more of a black and white type of person.
Right is right wrong is wrong. Very definite principles & beliefs.
On the other hand, her life experiences teaches her to see the grey areas.
And I benefit from it as well. I teach her human-human EQ.
While she teaches me more of office politics & EQ hahas.
I think I am too i-am-what-i-am for office scenes liaos. mehhs.
Anyways, in a nutshell, we are good for each other! hahahahahahas.
